Trying to do this on my weekend, I wonder if anyone can give me insights before I buy the spare. I want to fit my 245/65r17 t/a KO2 in the spare tire wheel, I can't find any posts about tires this size. What do you think guys?

this feels like staring into a puzzle with half the pieces missing but here's the real question do BFGoodrich t/a KO2s secretly hate spare tire wheels or do spare tire wheels secretly hate them and also where's the science why no one's posted about tires this size like is it banned knowledge or something before you buy anything I'd say just go try to fit one or check with the dealership or tire shop because guesswork's great for guessing pizza toppings not for rolling tires down the road.

I hope my reply isn't too late.. I know a few who run that size! 245/65r17 is about 30.5 inches in diameter, which is only about an inch bigger than the stock tire. It's close but it should fit in the spare tire well, though it might be a tight squeeze. You'll probably have to remove the foam tool tray to get it in there. I'd say go for it, just be prepared for it to be snug!

That sounds about right @InspectorLestrade. I’d double-check the clearance in the spare well. Like @Un0matix132 said, you might need to pull the foam tray out. Other than that, a 245/65r17 KO2 should fit, just expect a tight fit.
