Understanding Lumbar Support in 2025 RAV4

I've been dealing with some lower back pain from my driver's seat in the 2025 RAV4. I'm wondering how the lumbar support actually works, is it mechanical, air-filled, or perhaps a combination of both? I couldn't find a diagram, so I'd appreciate any insights or explanations you might have.

I drive a 2022 RAV4 XLE and had similar back pain during longer drives around LA traffic.The lumbar support in mine is electric and uses a small motor to adjust the firmness, no air system as far as I know. I just added a memory foam cushion and that made it much better

Hey there @Urban2Wild.RAV, the 2025 RAV4 lumbar support is electric, similar to what @iwantmyonionrings_90 mentioned. A lot of folks add a memory foam pad for extra comfort on long drives. Have you tried anything like that yet?
