RAV4 hybrid struggles last winter

So last winter, my wife had a rough time with her 2020 RAV4 Hybrid in the snow. She tried turning into our street, but the front wheels just kept chattering and the car wouldn't move forward, she said it felt like 4WD binding on dry pavement and after trying three times, she had to back out and find another way in, has anyone else run into this issue in snow?

Yeah, that chattering sounds like the AWD system struggling to get grip or maybe not engaging quick enough. Anyway you have plenty of time to get ready, summer has just started.

Sounds familiar @Titanz. The RAV4 Hybrid AWD can be a little twitchy in snow, especially on icy inclines. Tire choice makes a bigger difference than most realize. Snow tires or even all-seasons with good grip can totally change that experience.
