Looking at the 235/65/17 Vredestein ATs for my 2019 RAV4 LE AWD.. THey've great consumer reports rating, but theres not much feedback from RAV4 owners. Also considering Falken Wildpeaks. Anyone tried either?

Ok just so you knowm I've been running the Wildpeaks on my '21 RAV4 and they've been really resilient in rain, dirt, even light snow. But on the other hand I also heard good things about the Vredesteins, just not as proven in the RAV4 crowd yet. I'd lean Falkens if you want tried and tested by ME.

I haven't tried the Vredestein, but I can personally swear by the Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail!

I have them on my RAV4 in the 235/65/17 size, and they're fantastic!

They look great and fill out the wheel wells perfectly, plus they've handled everything from daily driving to wet roads and even some light off-roading like a champ!

The only downside is a slight drop in gas mileage, which I honestly expected with an all-terrain tire..

I've driven the Vredestein on a friends suv, not a rav4 though, but I can tell you that they're good, but I was expecting a bit more. They're quiet on the road, which is a good, but the off-road performance is meh, fine-ish and that's as much as you're going to get. From what I've read other people including the others on this thread, the Falken is a much better tire for off-roading.

I’ve got to side with the Falkens here @RioMancer05. On a RAV4, they really balance daily driving and light off-road well, and they handle rain and dirt better than the Vredesteins in my experience. The Vredesteins are quieter, but if you’re thinking AT performance, the Wildpeaks win.
