Wind noise

im very happy with my purchase and the rav4 is a nice litte suv but i have a small compliant and its the wind noise. I do a lot of highway miles so i get to hear it constantly and i want to find a solution. Where is it coming from and what can i do to tune it down?

are you sure it's wind noise and not something else like a mechanical issue or something loose in the car also have you checked if the windows and doors are properly sealed because sometimes even a small gap can cause a lot of noise and if it's really wind noise maybe try adding wind deflectors or checking if there's any damage to the seals around the doors and windows

what's your year & model? each models have different soundproofing

Probably the mirrors or door seals… that's usually where the sadness whistles in. You could try adding some extra weatherstripping, but it might never go fully away.

Its a commong thing, usually from the mirrors or door seals. Since you're on the highway a lot, try adding extra door seal kits or foam tape around the edges its the cheapest and easiest fix. Some also say mirror dampers help. It won't make it silent, but it can definitely take the edge off
