Thinking of picking up a high-mileage 2019 RAV4 Adventure

I'm looking at a 2019 RAV4 Adventure with about 121k miles on it. Is that too much? I'm coming from a Nissan (which lasted me a decade, so thankful as well). The price on this RAV4 seems super low, about $4k under what I'd expect, so naturally I'm a little suspicious. Anything in particular I should look for on the Adventure trim at this mileage? Timing issues, transmission problems, or service intervals you recommend? Thanks in advance.

121k miles on a 2019 RAV4 Adventure isnt necessarily a deal-breaker, Toyotas are known for longevity... But the low price is definitely worth a closer look. Check for a full service history, especially regular oil changes and transmission fluid service. You should also pay attention to signs of transmission issues (most important), suspension wear and any unusual engine noise. Also, make sure the AWD system and electronics are working properly. Might be a good idea to get a pre-purchase inspection to be safe. This is the best check list imo.

I’d worry about hidden transmission wear or missed maintenance.
