text and talk seems to be faulty

Been a month now and my talk to text seems to be bailing on me. clicking reply just gives a list of default answers and it can be quite inconveniencing to scroll through them, I did a system reboot and a friend advised me to update my software, It didn't work and i keep getting the texts and notifications , having to read them off the screen kind of defeats the purpose, i need the text and talk to text me back. Can anyone help me out here

I'm gonna assume you already tried digging through the menu and settings with no luck so i'll recommend disconnecting the battery and leaging it unplugged for at least half an hour
