I'm trying to cut down on wind noise in my 2023 rav4 XLE Hybrid, and I've seen some folks use 3M weather stripping around the doors.

The thing is, I'm a bit worried that it might mess up the original seals.

So, if I do end up having to replace the OEM door weather seals, how much would that typically set me back? I need to count my budget before I do anything

I'm sort of thinking about just going for the 3M stuff now and then dealing with replacing the factory seals later if they get warped. What do you reckon?

If you're careful with the install, the 3M stuff can help and still leave the factory seals usable. But before anything too drastic, do test it on one door first and see if the noise drops enough. Just so we know it's worth it.
