change the fuel warning setting

I live almost in the middle of nowhere, far far away from the city and the gas station. The light warning for the fuel comes at 15 miles remaining. Well yeah, it does give me a few extra miles once it hits 0, but I just wanted to increase the warning time, and somehow I can't find the setting. Is there even any feature to set this?

thats not a lot so its weird why it comes on so late and im not sure if theres an easy way to set it to give you a warning sooner. anyway driving on fumes isn't healthy for the pump as it cools from the liquid in the tank so dont do this unless you plan to replace the pump often

Oh man, I didn't know that, thanks for letting me know. I think I'm just worried that the tank's gonna be empty far away from the gas station haha

Toyota doesn't let you change the low fuel warning setting, it kicks in with about 1.5 to 2 gallons left, which gives you around 30 to 50 miles.
